This does limit the number of networks with which it is compatibility to Verizon or T-Mobile or AT&T, still that is quite a variety for a user.
Of more importance, though, is the fact that you are not limited to an operating system and paying for the apps it offers as you will find if you choose an Apple iPad over the Samsung.
